For over thirty years, I have been a National Marketing Director with the Juice Plus Company. What began as a business, fueled by desperation turned into a passion and ultimately became a “Mission.” From desperately trying to stay afloat after bankruptcy, to being a top leader in the company, I am, of all people, most aware and amazed at what God has done. He brought me an opportunity to empower people in their health and build an income to support my family. Today, as a member of the prestigious 100 Club, I have the joy of mentoring women nationally: in their business development, their personal growth, their family, and their faith. It’s what gets me up every day, and it’s the reason I don’t retire. You retire from a job, but not from a mission.

When my son Kevin decided to join me on this mission and become my business partner, I was absolutely thrilled! Watching him develop as a godly husband, father and outstanding leader has been a great joy. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of other families.

Investing in the lives of others and celebrating as they step into God’s plan for their lives is always rewarding. What a privilege it is to encourage the hearts of parents with a prodigal child, women navigating a troubled marriage, or people who feel all hope is lost. Because I have experienced God’s wholeness in my brokenness, His provision in my great need and His faithfulness in life’s uncertainties, I can speak into their lives with confidence.

I often say the most fruitful years of my life have been since I celebrated my seventieth birthday. I have grown stronger and healthier, and my business has prospered significantly. My husband, Lou and I agreed that the last three of our fifty years together were the sweetest. However, I have entered my eighties with a fresh excitement, believing this decade will be even better! I am still living life to the fullest and cherishing every single day. When I’m not mentoring women, speaking, writing, or savoring time with my family, you can find me riding my bike, kayaking, or enjoying the peace on the porch at Promise Point, our family home in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
